Listening is an Art

As we all know listening is an art. A person can be a good speaker but to be a good listener demands patience, curiosity, observation and a peaceful and calm mind.

A person who is a good listener always being considered as a keen observer. Through listening skills we understand the word around us. The Shri G International School works on the concept of listening, understanding and explanation. In this activity students listen audios. They try to understand it and then explain it in their own words.

Through this activity they enhance there listening skills, understanding skills and observation skills. By explaining they used imagination power and critical thinking to explain the topic in their own words. This activity demands to make them use their limbic brain which is responsible to make human being intelligent.

As we all know all competitive exams like GRE, TOEFL ,IELTS work on five modules listening, reading, writing, speaking and understanding. As any language also works on this five modules, so we cover listening and understanding to make them creative so that they can explain what ever they observe from the world around them.

This activity make students a good listener , a keen observer and critical thinker. This helps them to enhance their personality and make them prepare for the Global world.

A good listener can only be a good speaker and to be a leader of your team this is the first requirement to be a good speaker. It is seen and researched  that  those who listen wholeheartedly can handle the situation in a proper way . So to make  our students outspoken, we make them perfect in listening , understanding and explaining through lUE.
